“Iemanja," a series of six images, is meant to serve as a catalyst for remembrance and reflection of how we relate to the natural world in both contemporary and traditional practices. Within Brazil, Iemanja is the goddess of water and motherhood in the Yoruban descendant tradition of Candomble.
